A year of rewards for the beneficiaries of the DiafrikInvest program

Since 2016, DiafrikInvest has supported, individually and collectively, about 75 entrepreneurs, startups and SMEs in Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, and the diaspora of these three countries.

 

The DiafrikInvest international acceleration program provides a better understanding of the markets to build a relevant offer, reinforce team and execution plan with the support of high talent from the diaspora, expand its network by attending international events, promote and meet clients, prepare and launch a fundraising campaign, meet investors, etc.

 

DiafrikInvest is particularly pleased and proud of the success of several companies supported by the program, which have recently had the opportunity to participate in various entrepreneurial competitions, challenges and prizes, rewarding innovation or development potential – among which we would like to congratulate in particular:

 

CloudFret

CloudFret, winner of the La Banque Postale Pitch Competition. The freight route optimization startup, created by Driss Jabar (Morocco) won an endowment of €1,500! This award was presented at the Forum of African Diasporas on June 21, 2019, in Montrouge.

 

Green Watech

Green Watech, winner of the Mare Nostrum Prize granted during the Méditerranée du Futur, by the President of the South PACA Region on 26 November 2022 in Marseille. Green Watech, founded by Salma Bougarrani (Morocco), offers to the rural population the fundamental right to access sanitation services by using a innovative solution for the treatment and reuse of waste water.

 

SEN Or’Dur

SEN Or’Dur, winner of the Med’Innovant Africa contest, launched by EPA Euroméditerranée and designed to bring out solutions that will meet the urban challenges of tomorrow in Africa. The Jury Prize was awarded to Ababacar Thiam (Senegal), who is carrying out a waste recycling project in Senegal, in a global approach to the waste collection, sorting, treatment, transformation and distribution sectors. The award was granted during EMERGING Valley 2019, at thecamp on December 5, 2019.
